Always Hungry For Cheese

28 February 2011 By: Marlene18 Comments

I don’t mind if he’s always hungry for cheese. What I mind the most is the kind of cheese he’s buying. I have seen many different kinds of cheese since I met hubby but only a few of them appeal me. It’s not the taste but the strong smell that seems disgusting to me. There’s one cheese in particular that has kind of a nasty smell, the Coullommiers cheese. It delights me when the cheese shops run out of it so that hubby can choose another kind. In lieu of that cheese, he would sometimes prefer the Brie cheese which is mild in taste and hardly smells anything at all. I wouldn’t mind if this kind of cheese stays in the fridge.

Brie Cheese

Brie cheese after meals

Hubby was enjoying his Brie cheese on a slice of bread with tomatoes on the side. I can eat this cheese without complaining about the taste and smell and I’d love to eat it with grapes. I’m not a cheese eater actually but it’s good to eat it every now and then because it’s a good source of calcium, protein and phosphorus and not to mention fat. How about you, do you like cheese?

Just a lighter shade of yellow for this Monday’s

yes there are some places in the world where people eat cheese with worms… they leave the cheese as it is for few weeks and eat it when it has caught worms… they say the cheese becomes several times good and delicious

with molds, yes, it’s common but with worms, I don’t think so. Hubby said he would never eat cheese with worms.

Thanks! Amor did this theme for me but I changed it when my Google ads was disabled. I deleted all the areas with those ads and here it is again.

Kesong puti? It must be the fat cheese here they mix with the salad.

Sean loves cheese too, as in cheese lang walang kasamang tinapay, mas gusto nya yun. I also love white cheese pero bihira naman ako kumain nun kasi expensive hehe. We’re more on local cheese.
