Thank you for not smoking. And thank you for throwing your garbage in the trash.
When you’re in Davao City, you will find this billboard message to remind all that smoking is prohibited in public places, vehicles and other establisments. This hometown of mine has come a long way in it’s pursuit to a cleaner city.
hi marlene how are you?Happy earth day.!!!Oh i thought the billborad is in US.hehehe!
Sweetiepie, how are you, too? Miss your posts already. Hahaa! Americanized Philippines, sweetie.
We all share the same AIR
thinking about Smoking – Please don’t DARE
I’ve been noticing your poetic skills on your comments, Shanker. Never, never dare!
Happy Earth day to you Marlene …
Weee, happy earth day, Nick!
Yes I agree. Save our planet and treat this earth like you treat to yourself. Happy Earth day to everyone. Great post Marlene
hi te marlene!Ü yes thats true, smoking is prohibited here in davao. if you get caught smoking in public places, you’re going to pay… ai taga davao d.i ka?? wow kbabayan hehehe
Korek nga naman, we all share the same air, kaya sa mga smokers be considerate! 🙂
My,
Those are great messages. Instead of saying ‘do not smoke’ and ‘do not throw thrash’, you use a positive way by saying thank you for not smoking and thank you for thrash in the bin. By showing positive messages, it encourages people to be nice and to actually do that it says. I like it.
Farah, sometimes we need to do reverse psychology in order to solve certain problems, but i don’t know if it works on this situation, hehehe. Smoking and littering must be the worse problem in the society at large.
Franx, thanks for appreciating this post. Yikes, it’s been long since my last visit to your inspirational blog, buddy.
Bojoy, taga-davao kaayo ko, hehehe. Abe nako kabalo ka na. 🙁
Amor, tama ka, kasi lalo na sa kin na nahihirapang huminga kapag nakaka-amoy ng usok ng sigarilyo.
Lucky people… I feel like I live all my life in a smoke cloud… At home, on bus station, in front of the school, even IN the school!!!!
You might say, that I am paranoid, but I should go to the doctor to see my lungs… If you are 22 years constantly breathing air full of cigarette smoke, you have the right to be a little paranoid, aren’t you?
Amen to that! The world truly doesn’t need any more pollution.
