Have a Blessed Epiphany!
Were you already out for work and school yesterday after the long holidays and all? Not me, because our holidays will end just after today’s celebration for the Epiphany. It’s called Trettondedag Jul (Thirteenth Day of Christmas) in Swedish. But in other countries, it’s the Twelfth Day of Christmas in which the counting starts after the 25th of December. It is said that the children used to leave their shoes out the night before and would found gifts or candies the next day which is the Feast of the Epiphany left behind by the Three Kings or the Three Wise Men. In this case, be sure not to leave those bad-smelling shoes or you would find the three men lying unconscious on the ground (kidding!). Have a joyous Epiphany to you all!
I was back at work for 2 days and then I got Chicken pox so now I’m back home again for the rest of the week!
Poor you, dear. But I’d be glad if I had to stay at home for some reasons. Hope your chicken pox be gone soon.
Ay bakit dito everything is back to normal na but in Spain they celebrate The Feast of Three Kings where they say its more merrier especially for the children maybe they also receive gifts form the three kings. Swerte naman ng mga bata.
Nice to know different customs and traditions.

Haa? Di pala nagcecelebrate diyan ng Three Kings? Dito nga di naman Catholic pero holiday ang araw na ito.
I could understand the celebration in Spain, kasi purong Catholic ang bansa, hehee.

Thank you, Farah, dear. We don’t actually celebrate this feast in the Philippines. It’s just sort of reminder about the Three Kings.
