Wish Upon A Star

Will you be ready with your wish if you see a falling star or shooting star? I don’t know but I might stammer if I see one. I haven’ seen a shooting star in my entire life. I don’t think I would be able to see any at all when I can’t even get to see stars over me now that it barely gets dark in my place. I had taken a number of photographs of the dark winter sky but even then the stars seemed invisible. There is, on the other hand, another kind of star that’s not invisible and maybe wish-able, too. I am not really sure if wishing upon a falling star could make your wish come true. So take a shot on this and may your wish come true. Only this time, don’t look up, but look down. Are you ready?

Wait, wait, and wait...

Here it goes, slowly forming a star...

And make a wish!

I’m just making fun of this lovely view at the Raffles Plaza Complex in Singapore. It was taken on different occasions as I wasn’t quick enough to get a perfect timing to shoot when the star would appear. The star’s still not perfect, is it? Wish me luck next time.

Hi Grace, thanks for dropping by. Yes, it is and the fact that it’s inside the big shopping centre. But I’m sure Belgium has a lot of beautiful views too. Been there once.

You are correct, it’s really hard to capture a shooting star, i tried it once but i failed… I was on our terrace smoking and just staring at the sky with a camera then suddenly saw a shooting star, i did my best to capture it but i’m darn too slow (or the shooting star was fast….)..

the star you captured was a cool one… and you can try and try until you capture a good view… :)

Hi JH, I really appreciate you dropping by my blog. I think it’s typical for the locals not to appreciate what’s in his country because he’s there all the time. But the tourists would always find beauty in something new to them.

  8. That is really neat. It is unfortunate you have been unable see a falling star. Mabye your next vacation should be somewhere with out light pollution. A nice island maybe?
