Fancy A Red Ipod Nano?

Red is absolutely not my favorite colour but when something looks good in red I definitely fall in love and behold it.  Roses, for instance, pose a romantic gesture when they’re red.  And no girl would despise a bunch of red roses.  I am mumbling about red because we are approaching the month of February and everybody knows what we celebrate this month.  I don’t mean the Chinese New Year, which will be celebrated this month, too, but you know that V-day.  And when V-day is coming red is also everywhere.  Incidentally, Chinese New Year falls on Valentine’s Day this year.

Although red is not my fave colour, there’s something about it that becomes attractive to me.  I fancy a red colour on gadgets.  There is this distinct shade of red that I like a lot and I hardly get my eyes off it.  Most of my gadgets are actually red; I don’t have many, anyway.  And my tech-geek hubby seems to have this colour on his mind for my sake.  That’s why when he surprised me with an Ipod-Nano on my birthday, it was perfectly in the colour I liked.  This shade of red was not among the ones on display at any store but it can be ordered.  So he had it delivered from Holland but he made all possible way not to be discovered by me.

Ipod Nano Red

Ipod Nano (crimson red?)

And look what had gotten in his mind that he had my name and this site engraved on it, lol!  He normally asks me what I want for a gift but this time he didn’t.  I thought it was because I had decided a weekend get-away instead.  If he’d asked me, I wouldn’t definitely want an Ipod as I don’t really fancy Apple stuffs.  This kind of thing I can live without.  But the color, oh my, I just can’t let it slip from my hand.  Hubby made it sure I would love his surprise gift.  I guess I wouldn’t be receiving anymore red gadget this month.  But red roses or red chocolates will do me great. Hahaa!

  2. I prefer a dark grey myself. I bet we can correlate color data with gender!

I’m male- what’s everyone else’s favorite tech-gadget color and gender?

I noticed males like grey or black. Yes, gender has something to do with picking colors or vice-versa.

Though the idea of giving such a gift (ipod nano with engraved name) is not new, but getting gifts in such a personalized way has a great feeling altogether.
It is so good to get a gift that when one receives it, the whole thing of the person being really concerned to give you such a gift becomes really important.

So true. I was speechless when I saw my name on it but what matters most was the thought.

I do love red and I like that ipod nano. But I don’t like it’s limited features. That’s why I bought ipod touch instead.

And I’m glad hubby didn’t buy me an Ipod Touch. I’m pretty sure I don’t need other advanced tech details than music player.
