Marianne Royal Blue Tableware
I have finally found the set of tableware that I meant to purchase way long ago. It was like a subscription of exclusively designed tableware where I would pay for the item when it’d be delivered. I made just two orders that time and didn’t push through with it and instead spent on rather necessary things. I wanted this tableware because of its attractive color and peculiar design. I’ve looked around to find something similar to this that’s not too pricey but nothing impressed me as this one. The Marianne Royal Blue tableware was designed by Sigvard Bernadotte, the Design Prince of Sweden who was born into the Swedish Royal family but made a name for himself as a graphic artist and industrial designer. I didn’t know then that the tableware was named Marianne Royal Blue and all I knew was the name of the designer that was printed at the back of each item. I have one plate and one appetizer plate so I need more to complete the set.
I actually forgot about this tableware since it was barely ten years ago when I made the purchase but it was hubby who kept asking me about it these past few days. I said it was from a catalogue but I couldn’t remember anymore the name of the company that was selling this item. I guess he developed a liking for this tableware when he saw the two pieces we had on the table, though I only take them out on rare occasions. He remembered them when we were looking for new plates recently. And I’m delighted that I found the site after searching for Sigvard Bernadotte tableware.
Mobile Broadband As Backup ISP
Although it doesn’t happen all the time that I have internet disruption, it’s quite intimidating when it happens and the ISP people don’t mind giving information about the disruption ahead of time. I can’t remember when was the last time I experienced being disconnected abruptly but it normally takes a couple of minutes to get it fixed after restarting the modem. A short internet disruption is acceptable though, and as long as it doesn’t happen frequently.
I got a normal connection last night when I left the computer after dropping EC. And when I came back to get online again, about half an hour ago when I left, my internet connection was lost. I restarted the computer where the modem is connected hoping it might help as it did before. But nothing happened so I woke up hubby to let him fix it. I did not restart the modem as I’m afraid I could do something wrong. He restarted the modem and even the router, still no connection. He said the signal from our ISP was off so they might be having problems. He suggested that I should use the mobile broadband instead.

Comhem Mobile Broadband
I waited for half an hour and shun using my mobile broadband. I thought the disruption wouldn’t last that long. Talk about people who can’t live without internet nowadays, I am one of them. I was feeling hopeless so I connected with the mobile broadband which I otherwise use only with my netbook outside our home or when we are travelling within the country. The disruption had gotten way too long that it really intimidated me. It was even worse when I checked the ISP’s website and found no information about a drift in our place or something. I got my mobile broadband from the same ISP and luckily enough, while surfing their site, I found out that the price had went down, heaven knows when! I am paying 100sek monthly for 1Gb when it only now costs 69sek/monthly and the new subscription has been added too, which is 10Gb for 149sek monthly. If I were to choose between those two subscriptions if they existed when we purchased it, I should have had the 10Gb. But that would be a heck of a lot of surfing when I have not actually consumed 1Gb of surfing in a month. Now I know that mobile broadband is as good as backup internet connection at home too, when my ISP causes problems.
I Get Carried Away
There must be something with small things that fancy me a lot. I’ve been trying to figure what it might be but the reason that I can come out with is that small things are cute and apparently easy to carry around. It would lead me to buy unnecessarily whenever I see something that attracts me and when I can’t get my eyes off it. Yeah, call me a weirdo but it’s where I can treat myself with once in a while. Collecting small items is a habit I can’t get rid of. Sadly, I cannot collect all small things that I fancy but I can be satisfied by just looking yet not sob myself to sleep afterwards. One of the hard-to-collect things no matter how small it is must be this handy Sony Vaio P-series.

Sony Vaio VPCP11 - one of the P-series
I saw in the newspaper today a netbook but not a Sony Vaio that reminded me of the post I wrote long ago. I told hubby that the netbook resembled the one in my post but I found out later that it was not. Hubby was wondering about that Sony Vaio VGN he wanted to have and waited for the price to go down a bit but he’d not read nor heard of it after the campaign sale. I did him a favor and checked the site but that series is nowhere to be found. Instead, I got carried away with another series that seemed to have more finesse than the ones before.
