The Lousy Hotel Toilet

I should say this is the lousiest hotel toilet I’d ever seen. And I hope I will not be seeing a toilet like this in our future trip. I don’t know about you, but I am quite fussy about hotel toilets and baths. I always go and look right away how it looks, especially when there’s no image posted on a hotel’s website. This happened to be at Le Meridien in Paris. We thought it was as grand as in the Le Meridien in Singapore. But we were  disappointed.

Hotel toilet, eh?

This is even way too far from the toilet and bath I posted long ago. But in fairness, this is good as a public toilet. What do you think?

Me Like Sushi Oishii!

When my Vietnamese colleague invited to a sushi lunch one day I wasn’t so sure if I would like it. Although hubby was always telling me how he liked California Maki and that we should go to a Sushi bar someday it never happened because he was not certain about how good the Japanese resto here nowadays. My colleague took me to a small Sushi restaurant whose owner were not Japanese but Vietnamese. Yes, think about how many Chinese who run a Thai restaurant these days. And Thai running a Chinese resto? Maybe there are a couple of them. Anyhow, I liked that Sushi resto so much that I often go and eat there by myself at lunch. I had gone to another Sushi restaurant a few weeks ago with my friends but it wasn’t satisfying because the pieces they made were big enough that we had to cut them in two to get it into the mouth. And sushi should not be eaten like that, I suppose.

Sushi, oishii!

When I told hubby I was beginning to like Sushi, we started to look for a Sushi Bar whenever we’re out travelling. Until now, we haven’t found a better Sushi resto here but we managed to find somewhere else like in Singapore and lately in Copenhagen where the image above was taken. I crave for sushi now that the weather is getting warmer. Otherwise I don’t like cool meals in cold weather.

Do The Gaga Motion

How Gaga are you these days? I’ve been hearing a lot of Lady Gaga’s songs on the radio that soon I become gaga, too. Not because I sing along or dance the way she does everytime I hear her song but because of the many tasks I have to be done before school ends. I’m not complaining; it’s just that I miss my online presence a lot.

Speaking of gaga, Lady Gaga is here to do a series of concert as part of her Europe Tour concerts. I’ve read that her videos have always reached millions of views on YouTube. I haven’t watched any of them but the info gave me an idea to watch at least one of her videos and after watching, I could understand why the huge number of views. How inviting it is for a lady dancing and singing with less clothings. Her music might draw attention but her performance and style have been the reasons for her success. This lady is also active in using the social media to connect with her fans giving them a feeling of “you’re so near, yet so far”.

Her music is not particularly my type of music but because I’m hearing some of them almost everyday, I learnt part of the lyrics by ear, not by heart, hahaa! Lately I’ve been hearing Bad Romance and Paparazzi a lot and now comes the new sound called Alejandro. I remember when Poker Face hit the air waves it hit my ear waves as well. Not only I heard it on the radio but most students would sing that song anytime and anywhere too. Many are turning gaga with the Gaga motion and the Gaga tunes, lol!
