The Montparnasse Tower

Tour Montparnasse
Tour Montparnasse

This 210 metre office skyscraper is actually not so attractive to me. Located in the area of Montparnasse in Paris, it is said to be the tallest building in France. The 59 floors are occupied as offices, except the 56th floor which is open to the public for viewing the city. The view covers a radius of 40 km.

I’m not much of a high-rise building enthusiast myself. Although I used to work on the 36th floor of our corporate building back then in the Philippines, I hated it! The pressure in the ears and the threat of earthquake or fire always stressed me out! Glad to be down on the ground again!

Yikes! Must be scary to go up and down the elevator. I feel nauseaous whenever I’m on an elevator alone.

They have, on the 56th floor. It’s overlooking Paris on the top.
