I’ll be missing another solar eclipse again, just like the eclipse last year. Come Monday, the 26th, the only solar eclipse of the year will show off it’s ring of fire over Indian Ocean and west of Indonesia before it will diminish slowly in just part of Mindanao, Philippines. I’m not sure if Davao is lucky enough to notice a portion of the eclipse as it lies in Mindanao. But I’m going to ask my sister to take a photo of it, just in case. Countries like Australia, Africa, Madagascar and South East Asia will experience this eclipse partially as it moves from west to east on Monday from 0606 GMT to 0952 GMT.

We couldn’t see it from East Malaysia. I think the last time I saw an eclipse was when I was probably 8 or something.
