About To Be Disposed Of

There’s one precious possession that sooner or later I’ll be disposing of.  Not that I’m getting tired of it.  In fact, it’s my favorite red little thing that goes lightly in my hands and in my handbag.  Hubby bought this three years ago when it was the latest in the market.  Oh, how I fancied the color so much it would make me feel so girly.  It has been serving me in my photography attemp for three years now.  But the reason why I’m going to stop using my Konica Minolta Dimage X1 is that the battery life is becoming short.  If I am not mistaken, this is the last compact camera that KM had produced.  It didn’t obtain a remarkable review however, except the then modern and appealing design, the 2,5 LCD-screen, high pic resolution and the picture stabilisator.

I’ve noticed that the battery life has disappointed me in several occasions when it showed the red battery sign on the screen after using it for less than an hour. It usually sits on the dock station (charger) so it’s impossible I could use it without being fully charged. To buy a new compact digicam has been in my plan but I’m skeptical. I couldn’t be so sure as to quality, battery life, functions and other useful features. Think about how many names of digicams coming out every now and then. Each of them couldn’t have all the features I need. Because of the diminishing quality of my digicam, I’m forced to bring hubby’s Canon PS G7, which is a bit bigger and thicker than any compact digicam. I’d love to know which compact digicam that has better tech details is in the market or coming out soon.

    Mhy,

Actually gusto kong bumili nung Nikon D80. Medyo mahal pa kasi dito sa tin. In a few more months eh gusto kong magkaron ng photoblog dahil hilig ko talaga ang photography, among many things.
