7 Things You Don’t Know About Me

“If you don’t know me by now, you will never, never know me.”  But now you will know the things that you don’t know about me cause I’ve been tagged by the Dot com Guru,  Shanker Bakshi.  He doesn’t normally post a meme on his blog so I was surprised when he did this meme.  His blog shares about making money online mixed with his personal ramblings. Through this meme, I’ve learned a bit of the Dot com Guru and how he (seriously) elaborated the interesting facts about him. Thanks to you, Shanker, for now it’s my turn to surprise everybody about me.

I’ve done a meme like this before but in a different title and there I enumerated the seven facts about me that other’s didn’t know. In order not to repeat or rewrite the same things I thought it must be interesting to list down the things others know about me but I might not have known. And the only “other” person I could think of asking is none other than my ever good and loving hubby.

Here are what he had to say about me:

[1] Sweet
He always say this to me. I had not known I was sweet to anybody but I think I could only be sweet to a person close to me. And he has the reason to say this after almost nine years of our marriage.

[2] Kind
As far as I am concerned, I am not cruel. I am not a nagging wife. When I’m upset or something, I keep mum before bursting out what I feel inside and the reason for being so.

[3] Sexy
Hahahaa! I laughed when he said this. It’s hard for me to believe this but I’ve always had a slim figure and that doesn’t mean I have a voluptuous body, too.

[4] Stubborn
I don’t believe he mentioned this. I’ve known this for a fact. I wonder how many “others” knew that I am stubborn. I do and say what I think is right and tend to learn from whatever consequences it may give me.

[5] Generous
I remember my mother and my sister said that I was stingy but hubby said the opposite. I think I am both. I couldn’t share the last penny I have when nothing’s left of me afterwards. But I share to those in need and I don’t exaggerate helping.

[6] Smart
Uhurrm! When I asked him why he said so, this is what he had to say: “You’re smart because you chose me.” I’ll leave it this way. :-)

[7] Tech-savvy
Actually, I thank him for this one cause if not from him, I wouldn’t have known about technology, specifically, computing. But I am still reluctant to introduce myself as such to other people. He even said that I’m good at choosing the right (tech) things to buy. But for me, he’s the expert.

I guess I have laid down the seven things you should or would know about me and it’s now time to pass this meme to others and let them spread their true colors, hehee! I’m tagging Maiah (former colleague in Davao), Myrtle (former colleague and boss in Davao), Joy of Oz, Jerico (who needs a boost to continue blogging), Catherine,  Eds and Sweetiepie.

The rules:
* Link to your original tagger(s) and list these rules in your post.
* Share seven facts about yourself in the post.
* Tag seven people at the end of your post by leaving their names and
    the links to their blogs.
* Let them know they’ve been tagged.

The Pigeons Love Her

What did this woman do make these pigeons flocked around her.  I intentionally take some pics of this pretty sight and hoped the pigeons would notice me and flock around me, too.  But I wasn’t their preferred mother-bird, hmmp!  Me? Envy?

Btw, sorry for this blurry, blurry pic. My 3.2 megapixel mobile cam is not quite enough to capture clear and sharp images.

Church of La Madeleine

Church of St. Mary Magdalene
Church of St. Mary Magdalene | La Madeleine

L’Église Sainte Marie Madeleine – Church of St. Mary Magdalene is a church dedicated to Saint Mary Magdalene. Located near the Place de la Concorde and the Place Vendome in Paris, this church offers daily masses, concerts and elegant weddings.

I couldn’t appreciate much the exterior design of this church, except the sculptured relief of the Last Judgment by Lé Maire in the pediment. The reason for it’s simplicity, maybe, because it was based on the design of an antique (Roman) temple. After two false starts, the building was finally built in 1806 and consecrated as a church in 1842.

The busiest and perhaps the most crowded place on this Season of Lent is the church. Christians all over the world are commemorating the passion of Christ. And the most significant day of the season is the Resurrection where people jubilantly sing songs of praises to the Lord. It was said that Mary Magdalene was the first person to witness that Jesus had risen from the dead.

HAPPY EASTER TO Y’ ALL!
