Austrian Alps Zoomed In

Austrian Alps

This part of the Austrian Alps is visible along the highway when driving from Salzburg, Austria to Italy. There are a number of Alps in Europe and the highest is the Mont Blanc between France and Italy. Most of the Alps are in France, Switzerland, Austria and Italy. I took this picture while in a car on our first trip to Europe.

The first time I encountered the word Alps was in a can of milk brand in the Philippines, called Alpine! The label was exactly that of the Alps, but the snow was not visible. It was a great experience for me to see the real Alps covered with snow, though haven’t stepped on it yet.
