Around The Chrysanthemums

It was one late summer day when hubby and me drove through this round-about that I asked him to pull over to shoot these Chrysanthemums.

Colorful Chrysanthemums

Chrysanthemum varies in color when it’s cultivated. The common colors can be yellow, white or red. But the original flower is somewhat golden. Linnaeus named it from the Greek word, chrysous (golden) and -anthemon, meaning flower. It is the flower of November, and never have the faintest idea why. If you insist to ask why, then I can only give you this silly answer – cos it’s my birth month, hah!

Tenk yu! Tenk yu! Hahaha! Ang bilis nga na panahon, parang kidlat. Kaya napapabilis din ang pagtanda, lol!

Gusto ko rin yung yellow, at ang orange naman ay minsan napagkakamalang daisy.

Yes, indeed! I could have captured it more sharply with a real camera. My phone-camera isn’t good for macro shoots.

Beautiful pic. I like Chrysanthemums too, and I love the Chrysanthemum tea better! Do you have a garden in your home too? You seem to love flowers a lot. I do too, but I don’t like the process before these flowers bloom. I only love them when they are in their full bloom.

Farah, i haven’t tried Chrysanthemum tea though I’ve been seeing it in stores. Oh, I only have a small balcony in my apartment and on the 3rd floor, too, so I can’t have a garden. Those pics I took when Leif and me were out driving. I’m not so good at gardening. :-)

wow so pretty! How’s your practice driving doin? Is this the first time you’ll ever drive? I hope you pass all your test. If I’m not mistaken they require you to do parallel parking there, do you?
    Wish you well.

Maricris, getting better. I’m driving in the city since my driving school’s location is just around. It’s not my first time, actually, been driving from time to time since 2002 with hubby as my instructor. We are required to do all kinds of parking, hehee! Thanks for your wishes.
