I have always been so choosy when it comes to apple. The truth is I can’t eat up a whole apple if it’s not the kind I like. Sometimes I pick the luring red apples in the grocery’s fruit stall but even the color does not please my tongue the moment I eat it. If there’s one kind of apple that pleases my eyes as well as my palate, it should be the Fuji apples. I find it more juicy, sweet, crunchy, and not so sour. And it’s the only kind I would recognize because it is usually single-packed by a plastic foam net, haha!

The common saying or slogan, “an apple a day keeps the doctor away” actually stressed out the health benefits of apple. We know that fruits are a good source of Vitamin C, but apples contain relatively low amount of Vitamin C compared to other fruits and vegetables. It’s fiber content helps regulate bowel movements and helps reduce the risk of colon cancer. Apples may reduce the risk of prostate cancer and lung cancer according to research.  Oh, really?  I’m not that fond of apples but If I have an apple tree like this, I would pick and eat one a day even if it’s not my kind of apple just so to keep me away from the scary c.
