Touch Phone From HTC

There’s one thing I like the most when I am out working – the pleasure of going to malls between free periods or before going home and window shopping.  One of my favorite is the mobile stores where displays of different phones are absolutely enticing.  The other day, I thought of checking out the new iPhone 3G as I’ve not seen nor touched it yet.  But seemed they don’t put it on display and I didn’t have intention to buy so I did not bother to ask for a preview of the phone.  I looked on the display of phones, touching every piece that attracts me, reading its specs or something.  Until my attention stopped completely to the sight of a phone which name is unfamiliar to me.  I know 4 or 5 names of phones, mostly those familiar and widely used ones.  So I held the somewhat slim and sexy phone named HTC Touch Diamond.  It’s a touch phone that everybody would want to touch.  And the specs are tempting, too.

The Day That Was

Catastrophic.  Shameful.  Unacceptable.  This is how I could describe the Monday that was yesterday.  My first day of work and the kick-off day was a conference to commence the schoolyear.  And I came late, thanks to the bus that didn’t come on time.  I could hear the voice of the speaker who happened to be the boss of all the bosses when I thought of going in the back door.  But the stupid door which happened to be near the platform where the speaker stood, was wide open so that the other bosses, including my boss could see me coming.  The back doors were unfortunately closed so I had no choice but to walk in as if I was some kind of celebrity who popped in by surprise right in front of more than 120 colleagues that all their eyes were on me.  Acch!  It was the day I wished it never happened and absolutely not the way I should be remembered.  Who? Ah, she, who came in late, lol!  Some of them know my name but having 150 or more colleagues is sure way difficult to remember all the names.  I don’t even remember half of them.  One colleague who’s name is a tongue twister suggested we could call her Daisy instead of Dilruba,  Dulrabi or Dalrubi – I don’t know which of these is the right one, lol!

Anyhow, nobody asked why I came late which was surprising.  Not even my boss for this matter when we had our talk today.  But it’s not something I’m proud of.  If only I could shout to the bus driver just to know the reason for his delay but it’s not a scene anyone would act early in the morning.  Besides, it’s not normal that buses come late all the time.  It just happened that it did yesterday and a Monday of all the days of the week.

The Kick Ass Bloggers

Kick Ass Blogger Award

I am one of them, thanks to Maricris and Joy for giving me this award.  After days of comteplating who my kick ass blogger-awardees may be I have come to a unanimous decision to now present the lucky five.  I’m glad no one protested and no one seconded the motion obviously because the voting was done by myself and no other.  But first here are the rules:

Do you know any bloggers that kick ass? Maybe they’ve got incredible, original content. Or they’re overflowing with creativity. Is it someone that helps you become a better blogger? Or a bloggy friend you know you can count on? Or maybe it’s someone who simply inspires you to be a better person… or someone else who sends you to the floor, laughing your ass off. Whatever the reason may be, I’m sure you know at least a couple of bloggers that kick ass. Well… why not tell ‘em so?

LOVE ON ‘EM

Choose 5 bloggers that you feel are “Kick Ass Bloggers”

And here are the kick ass bloggers as far as my blogging expertise is concerned, lol!

Amor
Because your personal site is always a personal site. You blog not for money but for something that you want to share to other bloggers. Your creativity is simple and inspiring. I can’t believe our online acquaintance has come this far. Three years, maybe?

Nick
Because you and your long winding posts sometimes or most of the time send me to the floor, laughing my ass off. And your answers to comments are as funny as your posts. Of course, sometimes you write serious content in a seriously comical way, lol!

Farah
Because your blog is original, from contents to widgets. Your blog shows how proud you are as a mother of the apples of your eyes and for sure, proud as a wife of the apple of your eye as well. Your colorful blog is a source of inspiration for personal blogging.

Bojoy
Because you are my townmate, hahaha! Actually, I find you very sweet. As sweet as the color of your blog. And you’re so in love with your hubby and son. Aminin!

Eds
Because you are thoughtful. You always include me as your recipient of tags and awards. I like how you have improved from one blog to many blogs. Your digiscrap shows your being creative.

There you are, my kick ass bloggers. And Maricris, you may as well get to know them, but I’m afraid they’re not all Filipinos. To all of the above, including Joy, meet Maricris and her ventures. She is hungry for online friends and she is happy to eat, er, meet you all. :-)
